Living Christ Lutheran Church is a  member of Reconciling in Christ (RIC). RIC is a program for Lutheran communities of faith to answer the inclusive call of the Gospel by publicly welcoming people of all sexual orientations and gender identities. 

Flagstaff Shelter Services’ Needs

For the month of November we will be collecting gloves, hats and scarves. We are also always collecting empty prescription bottles. 

Living Christ is an active participant in the work of Northern Arizona Interfaith Council (NAIC), a non-partisan community organizing group. In partnership with other churches, faith-based groups, and local businesses, we currently organize and advocate around the issues of education, housing, immigration, and COVID-19. We also seek to collaborate with local, state, and federal elected officials on these issues and hold them accountable through public accountability sessions, which are open to the public. 

Quarterly Leader's Meeting, Wednesday, November 1, 6:30-7:45PM in-person at Lev Shalom. Come for an update on recent areas of focus: Supporting public education for all, Welcoming immigrant families, Taking climate action, Advocating for affordable housing.

Lack of Housing Options (LOHO) Meeting, Monday, November 13 at 6:45PM. Open to the community for everyone who wants to work for affordable, accessible housing in Flagstaff.
